cURL on Ubuntu 11.10

One of the new features I'm working on for a client requires libcurl to connect to a remote server from PHP.  I've dealt with enabling this on Windows installs of PHP before, but since I've lately had to use a linux (Ubuntu 11.10) server for testing I had no idea how to get it up and running (my forays into using a linux-based server are still new).  After some searching and trial and error it turned out there's a very simple and elegant solution:

sudo apt-get install php5-curl
